Systems Analyst
Nick started with the company in 2005 and since that time has successfully assisted in the development of 35 affordable housing communities consisting of 2,700 units and over $500,000,000 in total development costs.
Kenyatta Bush
Marketing & Administrative Coordinator
Kenyatta joined HFA in 2014. She promotes the organization through events, social media coordination and manages office operations. She is adept at thinking of things before people know they need them.

Regional Manager of Resident Services
Kyle ensures the programs and activities in our communities are resident-driven, enriching, and fun! He has over 15 years of non-profit experience connecting individuals and families with the resources they need to thrive.
Jenni Brown
Finance and Development Analyst
Jenni works in the Finance Department and oversees Human Resources. She came to Homes for America in 2007 after many years of nonprofit work in Washington DC. Jenni is a graduate of Salisbury University and a dedicated supporter of nonprofit organizations.
Jolly Burks
Chief Financial Officer
Jolly leads the financial operations for HFA with her dedicated Finance team. She has been with HFA since 2015 and provides financial expertise to HFA through experience gained in various roles in the non-profit and government, and private sectors.

Expert in Accounts Retrievable! Debts are cleared by payments of treats and belly rubs. Other duties include announcing and greeting visitors.
Diane Clyde
Portfolio Manager
Diane has over 30 years of experience in the industry. Her experience includes the development of complex and challenging multi-family communities and is now managing investor exits and refinancings of the HFA portfolio.

Julia joined Homes for America in November 2024. She has 15 years of accounting experience with a focus on not for profit and government organizations.

Vice President of Portfolio Management
Danielle joined HFA in June 2018 as a Portfolio Manager and is deeply committed to our mission to provide high quality housing. Danielle spent several years previously working for the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development.
Denise Fazio
Development Director
Denise is responsible for the management of projects from conception through stabilization. She has extensive real estate experience in equity investment, financing, and development of a variety of multifamily, residential, and commercial property types.
Vicky Grim
Development Associate
Vicky provides support to members of the Development Team from project inception to completion. She has been with the company since 2016.
Andrew Hanson
Vice-President of Development
Andrew leads Homes for America’s development team. He began working in real estate in 1997 and submitted his first tax credit application in 2006.
Deepthi Jain
Development Director
Deepthi is a Development Director; she is responsible for project acquisition through construction completion. She has nearly 20 years of experience in affordable housing as a consultant, underwriter and project manager. Deepthi joined HFA in 2023.
Dana Johnson
President & CEO
Dana brings over 25 years of experience in the affordable housing and community development field to her role leading Homes for America. She is responsible for the strategic direction of HFA and leading a strong team to deliver on HFA’s mission.
Damico Martin
Portfolio Analyst
Damico joined the HFA team in May, bringing his experience in data analytics combined with process improvement through use of new technologies. He is responsible for understanding the numbers behind the properties we serve, and how understanding those numbers improves our quality of service.
Julie McCabe
Vice President Of Service Enhanced Housing
Julie joined HFA in 2004 and has grown the organization’s resident services and now leads the Service Enhanced Housing Division. Julie serves an instrumental role in ensuring residents’ lives are being positively impacted across the portfolio.
Lily McCabe
Team Lead, Treat Inspection
Lily joined HFA in 2015 as the Official Greeter but quickly worked up the ranks to Lead Treat Manager. She is devoted to the mission and loves working with people.
Liam Mercer
Development Manager
Liam assists the Development Directors in submitting funding applications and identifying potential development and acquisition opportunities. Liam joined Homes for America after three years in real estate feasibility consulting.
Cheri Scruggs
Resident Services Coordinator
Cheri is the new Resident Services Coordinator at Bay Forest Senior Apartments. She brings a passion for community engagement, meaningful programs, and building strong connections that help residents feel supported, informed, and at home.
Nicole Perez
Senior Portfolio Manager
Nicole joined the HFA team in the early part of 2024 as a Portfolio Manager. With 30 years of experience in the Property Management Industry, holding multiple positions in the field and at the corporate level, Nicole brings on-site experience to her role.
Mary Smith
Financial Data Manager
Mary has been with Homes for America since November 2017. She has extensive accounting and tax experience for both private and not for profit companies.
Lindsay Thompson
Director Of Design and Construction
Lindsay has over 20 years of experience managing design and construction of multi-family, office, education, and healthcare new and renovation projects. Lindsay also has building maintenance management expertise and is a LEED O&M accredited professional.
Cathy Wallick
Regional Manager of Resident Services
Cathy joined HFA in 2004. She now serves as Regional Manager of Resident Services, certified in both Family and Elder Service Coordination through PHFA. Cathy’s focus is providing resources and opportunities to enhance the lives of HFA residents.
Ellie Willett
Project Design Manager
Ellie joined HFA as Portfolio Manager in 2019 and seamlessly transitioned to her current role. She uses her unique design perspective to elevate community initiatives and create living spaces where residents don’t just live—they thrive.
